Dominique Ansel Bakery London

The Place

The name Dominique Ansel may sound familiar to you—this shop is none other than the acclaimed US-based pastry chef's London offshoot. The desserts here truly don't disappoint, with a delectable selection of baked goods including viennoiseries, cookies, as well as tarts and cakes. If you have to pick just one item, go for Ansel's legendary Cronut, a hybrid between a croissant and doughnut, with its middle filled with sweet cream. It's fun, innovative, and most importantly, delicious!

Insider Tips

If you don't plan on lingering in the café for long, get your Cronut to-go—it's £4.50 for takeaway, but £5.20 to eat in!

If you are in for the grams, then do drop by this fancy $$$ place for a nice tea-break. A little walk from Victoria Coach Station, this place offers a wide selection of interesting French pastries. Would totally recommend the cookie shot, but some of the other pastries I have tried were just alright.

Hi! We went here on a late afternoon or early evening, so there weren't too many customers inside. We had a table reserved, then went up the queue to select what we wanted. Oh, the treats were definitely good and amazing, something that I would like to repeat. They had very simple items, but these simple items were of a very high calibre that it is definitely worth appreciating. The food is absolutely wonderful and highly recommendable. Great!

It's like the song "nothing compares, nothing compares to you..." we absolutely love the place, consistent quality that never disappoints. In a world ever so changing this place is always great. Truly recommend their salted caramel brownie, it's from out of this world, but everything I've tried so far is truly delicious, can't wait to go back. Service is always great too.

There are only five items on the menu on deliveroo and the employees made an incorrect delivery twice within the same 30 minutes. Let’s make this clear, no one needs to risk their personal safety to serve baked goods to customers. It is not essential. Happy for you to close until employees are no longer “risking their personal safety”. Dominique Ansel remains open because the business probably will go bust if they didn’t do deliveries. Don’t be in the service industry if you don’t want to provide a service, Jordan Ruby. I expected an apology but look at this email. No one wonder your employees don’t know what they are serving.
