The Place
One of the OG ramen restaurants in Sapporo. The style of miso ramen found here is slightly different, and unlike other shops, the original contains no chashu slices, but instead, minced meat is mixed in with the ramen. The layer of fat across the soup is meant to help it retain its heat for longer, such that the soup is always hot.

28 Oct 2019Sapporo is famous for its miso ramen. This is the shop to get it. You order from the machine. You can get a larger portion if you are hungry. The prices are quite reasonable. There is not a lot of seating, so expect to wait a little bit. The soup was very flavorful. If you're interested, you can also buy a ramen kit and make it at home.
