Kushikatsu (fried skewers) is a dish of meat or vegetables that has been cut, skewered, battered and deep fried. This dish has originated from Shinsekai Osaka, with many stalls still available around that area. There are a few rules when eating this dish, one of which is to not double dip. This is as the sauce is usually shared publicly between customers, and thus you are not supposed to dip a skewer that has already been in your mouth. Alternatively, you can use cabbage which they provide to spoon extra sauce onto your skewer.
