Being a resort town, nightlife abounds and there’s no better way to enjoy your late nights in Siem Reap at the city’s very own Pub Street. Home to cheap 50-cent beers, lively music and vibrant chatter, this is where you can live your best life and party through the night at our very own top picks at Pub Street!

Angkor What?

Angkor What? is one of Pub Street’s original bars that has been proudly serving drinks “irresponsibly” - their cheeky words, not ours! - since their opening in 1998. Come as you are as there’s no fancy dress code here, and enjoy the regular live DJ sets and cheap drinks. Happy Hour lasts till 9pm, though regardless of when you arrive, you’ll be sure to party your night away!

Angkor What?

Opens Sunday to Thursday 2pm - 4am, and Friday to Saturday 2pm - 3am

This restaurant and bar is where you can get some affordable Tex Mex or Khmer fare while enjoying a good pint of 50-cent beer that Pub Street is so famous for. If that doesn’t pique your fancy, try a good ol’ fashioned margarita that costs as low as S$2! While it’s a bit quieter than bigger establishments like Angkor What?, you can still get your fair share of people-watching and drinking along with the rest of the street!

Temple Club

Temple Club is one of Pub Street’s main attractions due to the many activities you can take part in while you’re there. Apart from cheap drinks, international and Khmer food, you can also enjoy a traditional Khmer dance show every evening at 7.30pm on the second floor of Temple Club. Later in the night at 10pm, when the resident DJ takes over the music, you can continue dancing and partying till late with the lively crowd.

Temple Club

Opens daily from 8am - 12am, except on Wednesdays at 8am - 1.30am

Another one of the oldest bars in the street, Banana Leaf is a stylish venue that also doubles up as a cool restaurant, with many Chinese and Western-style dishes for you to feast on after a long day out. With an extensive drinks menu featuring martinis, margaritas and mojitos that cost less than $5 each, there’s no reason for you to hold yourself back from a night of unwinding and enjoyment.

Miss Wong

Miss Wong’s is an intimate cocktail bar that’s tucked in a quiet corner in a lane that branches just off from the main Pub Street area. Nonetheless, it’s worth going there if you’re looking for some place that’s a bit classier and upscale. The decor is reminiscent of an Asian-influenced speakeasy of the twenties, with some good music to match. Try out their signature Miss Wong cocktail, a unique blend of white rum, triple sec and St James Amber, along with some other fruity flavours, to really get a taste of what this bar’s all about!

The Red Piano

Conveniently situated at the entrance of Pub Street, The Red Piano is another must-visit establishment along this bustling street. It’s famous for being Angelina Jolie’s most frequented bar when she was filming Tomb Raider in Siem Reap. The bar even has a cocktail named ‘Tomb Raider’ in honour of Jolie. Every 10th Tomb Raider is sold for free, and the 500th order will win a free Tomb Raider cocktail, a t-shirt and $100 in cash! If this doesn’t get you pumped up for the night, we don’t know what will.

UP2U Bar is another quieter bar just off the main Pub Street, but offers you just the right ambience for you to enjoy the music and chat with your travel buddies. If you feel like you’re up for some games, the staff can arrange a game of beer pong for you for just $5! The bar’s espresso martini is one of their signatures, and comes highly recommended by travellers, so make sure to give this caffeine and alcohol concoction a try!

Soul Train Reggae Bar

This is the only reggae bar in Siem Reap, and is located all the way at the end of Pub Street. If you’re making your way down Pub Street, end your night here, as the Caribbean music and decor stand out against the other pubs in the area. It’s one of the newer joints, so you’re going to get a fresh and young vibe here. The owner is usually around, and he’s known to be very friendly and approachable so feel free to chat more about Siem Reap, reggae, or Bob Marley with him!
