Old Town Square
In the morning, make your first stop at Old Town Square, where you can admire some of the world’s most beautiful architecture and have Trdelník as a reward for all the walking you will do for the day. Don’t forget to watch the 12 Apostles make an appearance when the Astronomical Clock chimes out the hour.
Charles Bridge

Next, take a leisure stroll of about eight minutes to Charles Bridge. The bridge is graced with many statues but if you wish to return to the city, be sure to touch the plaques of St Nepomuk.
John Lennon Wall
Before you reach the end of Charles Bridge, you will discover that you can take the side stairs on either side of the bridge into small lanes. Head for the left stairs and you will be within a five minutes walk to the famous John Lennon Wall. There is also a pub dedicated to him around the corner. Do take some time to explore this lane which is packed with local artisan craft shops that are perfect for souvenir shopping.
All the walking that you have done so far must have burnt a fair amount of calories and your stomach might be even starting to growl. Fret not, aptly named “Pork’s”, the best pork knuckle in town is a mere three minutes walk away. It is also on the way to the next stop so be sure to fuel up before you get going again.
Frank Kafka Museum and Piss
Depending on the season, you might yourself unwilling to continue trekking under the hot summer sun or freezing in the winter cold with a food coma. Hence, the best thing to do after lunch would be a leisure pursual of the Frank Kafka Museum. Too content-heavy for you to digest? There is also an interactive Piss sculpture outside and the world’s smallest traffic lane hidden round the corner!
Prague Castle
Time is ticking down so start your 11 minutes walk to Prague Castle. Once you are there, you can choose to pay for entry into different zones but travelers will often choose to enter St Vitus Cathedral and St George Basilica.
Just outside the castle, amongst the gardens, you will also be able to get a bird’s eye view of the entire city of Prague.

The Nuclear Bunker Exposition
To learn more about the cold war and view its artifacts, hitch a tram ride back to Old Town and explore The Nuclear Bunker Exposition. An underground nuclear bomb shelter that was built to host people in the war, it now hosts objects and weapons and holds demonstrations and tours of evacuation procedures.

Jewish Quarter
Last but not least, the Jewish Quarter is the best-preserved Jewish town in Europe and holds many relics of the Jews. With multiple synagogues of gothic architecture, be prepared to spend time admiring not just the facade but the inner grandeur of buildings that hold meaning to the city’s past.
