Besides stuffing your face with delicious mooncakes and taking an evening stroll with paper lanterns, you may wonder about other ways to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival in Singapore. This festive date lands on September 21 this year, and commemorates the day Chang’e ascended to the moon and became the Moon Goddess.

There are plenty of celebratory events taking place around the island this year, ranging from cultural performances to specially curated lantern displays. Here are some of the best events celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival this year for a memorable night under the stars.
