While the nightlife scene in Krabi may not be as well-known as Phuket’s Patong, Krabi holds its own with plenty of activities after sundown. A night out here is unlikely to consist of crazy wild nights. Instead, you can expect a laid-back night of merrymaking and fun.

The popular event spans across 3 streets with over 50 stalls selling everything from tasty Thai street food to beautiful handicrafts and funky souvenirs. Have your caricature drawn by one of the many talented sketch artists as you bask in the lively atmosphere and performances by street musicians.

Another popular night market in Krabi is the Ao Nang Night Market. Every Wednesday night, you will find rows of shops selling local street food and cheap clothes and shoes here. Although it is smaller than the other night markets, it’s the perfect place to grab some barbecued meat and Thai iced tea and go shopping for those ‘I love Krabi’ souvenirs.

This outdoor market features food stalls and hundreds of plastic chairs and tables right by the Krabi river bank, ensuring a chaotic and lively dining experience for those who visit. You will be spoilt for choice with its wide range of local cuisine as it offers everything from Thai-style fast food to barbecued seafood and meat, and even Chinese and Muslim cuisine. Most dishes sold here except for the seafood choices are cheap and cost around 35 to 50 Baht, with seafood going at no more than 100 Baht.
