As much as ordering in has become the norm in recent months, we all know and miss the joy of dining in at a new cafe.
Singapore’s cafe scene is vibrant, with a new cafe popping up almost every week. So, as COVID-19 restrictions slowly ease in Singapore, why not venture out (safely, of course) to visit some of these new cafes in July?

Its name was inspired by the cheekiness of children and their playful personalities, and various kid-friendly activities have been added into this cafe, including a small play area and a library.
Little Rogue Coffee’s menu includes dishes such as Bacon Wrapped Prawns Risotto and Miso Roasted Cauliflower Steak. They also offer sweet treats including brownies and teacakes.

In addition to gelatos and coffee, The Urban Hideout offers a brunch menu that includes dishes such as its fragrant Louisiana-style cajun rice, and a buttery and flaky jumbo croissant.
It’s called a pet-friendly cafe for good reason: a special pet-food menu is available for your fur-kids to enjoy while you eat. Tigerlily Patisserie

Tigerlily Patisserie is a new cafe located along Joo Chiat and headed by Maxine Ngooi, ex-head pastry chef of Vianney Massot Restaurant at HongKong Street. This cafe is botanical-themed, with walls filled with bright green and yellow shades that exudes a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
On top of a diverse breakfast and brunch menu, this cafe also offers unique pastries and desserts made with unconventional flavours. Each pastry is baked fresh daily, pairing French techniques with Asian ingredients. Some of their popular dishes include curry sausage, lemon thai basil tart, pistachio marimo, and The Beehive.
The Beehive, one of Tigerlily’s most eye-catching dessert, consists of lemon thyme with litchi honey jelly encased in a beehive-shaped honey parfait. The dessert is then topped with a yuzu mousse honeycomb. This dessert is beautifully crafted, balanced between sweet and citrusy, and not too overwhelming on the palate.
