For hardcore vegans out there, do note that while its cleanser is completely vegan, its moisturiser contains cholesterol, a derivative of lanolin, which in itself is sourced from sheep’s wool.

Not only does this brand use a host of powerhouse ingredients from Japan such as turmeric and cherry blossom flower extract, but also a host of literature to back up its ingredient choices and efficacy — not many skincare brands can boast that it has science-backed research journals to its name.
