Formed by the surrounding Feitsui Reservoir and Beishi River, the lake is surrounded by clusters of verdant hills giving the impression of a “thousand islands.”
Get a taste of Taiwan’s traditional tea culture with a visit to the plantations of Ba Gua Tea Garden near the lake. Marvel at the endless terraces of tea bushes, then treat yourself to a cup or two from the local tea masters.
Before heading back to Taipei, stop by the historic Shiding Old Street, a small mountain town dating back to the Qing dynasty. Stroll through the ancient streets, where you can see plenty of traditional delicacies and local handicrafts.

- Taipei Main Station East Gate 3 (meeting time: 9:00).
- Please look for staff members wearing a “Taiwan Tourist Bus” vest. - Returning Info: ~5:30pm at Taipei Railway Station/ ~5:50pm at MRT Ximen Station.

- The tour duration is 8 hours approximately.
- Tour start time: 8:40AM or 9:00AM which is also the pick up time depending on where you want to be picked up.

- This is a half-guided tour; transportation will be shared with other guests
- Lunch is not included in the tour. Travelers may dine at Pinglin or Bagua Tea Fields at their own expense
- Free admission for children under age 3, must not occupy a seat and must pay for insurance fees. Adult fees apply to children ages 3 and over
