Learn of the chilling events and darkest moments of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia with a visit to the Phnom Penh Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek Memorial. From your hotel, you'll be picked up by your English speaking guide and taken to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), which is known as the largest detention and interrogation center of its kind. Then, you will visit the Choeung Ek Memorial, marked by a Buddhist stupa (hemispherical structure) and acrylic glass slides. Within these glass slides are over 5,000 human skulls, a grisly reminder of the dark times.
