The idea of this trick-of-the-eye 4D and optical art museum originated in South Korea and Jeju boasts the largest of its kind in the world! Step into the paintings and direct your own photographs which mimic real life scenes. The museum consists of five zones: Optical Illusion Art, Media Art, Object Art, Sculpture Art and French Provence Art – so you can turn imagination into reality. The Jeju 4D Alive Museum is conveniently located at the entrance of the world-famous Jeju tourism resort and boasts 10,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space and also a beautiful outdoor garden.

Know Before You Go

General Information:

  • Please do not use flash when taking photographs​!
  • Make sure your camera batteries are charged in this self-proclaimed 'please touch!' museum
    You can use the 'Photo Point' indicated on the floor of Alive Museum exhibits. That is the best spot to take the most awesome pictures
  • If you need help, find the Alive Museum staff and they will take a cool picture for you
  • Entry is free for children under 3

  • Daily 9:00am - 9:30pm (last admission at 8:30pm)
